We went to the desert for 5 days for Thanksgiving, it was a nice getaway in the Bad Pig  ;D

After we set up camp, it was time to bust out the toys  :)

Enough with the RC stuff, tome to blow some sh!t up  8)

The kids had fun blowing up pumpkins with AR's and hand guns, so we headed back to camp so I could start cooking a few Scooby snacks :D

Saturday it got windy and rainy so I cooked under the patio, it turned out great  8)

We all ate in my trailer as the wind kept blowing  :)

Had to get some family pics before heading home

And the final pic while leaving.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving  8) 8)

Food & Recipe / Smoked Butt
« on: April 05, 2016, 12:12:36 PM »
The weather was so nice I just had to take advantage of it :) Got a nice 12Lb pork butt and injected it with apple juice, rubbed it down with spice and let it marinade in the fridge overnight :) Saturday morning was go time !

I used apple wood chunks and oak and it was looking great at 5 hours, only 6 more to go now at 275 degrees 8)

Every hour I would mist it down with apple juice and after the 11th hour I wrapped it in tinfoil and let it rest, here she is about to fall apart :)

Shredding it up was so easy cause it was so tender and moist 8) Pulled pork sandwiches were a hit with the family :)

C-ya ;D
