Soupfin Central – It’s been a long hiatus after my shoulder surgery, but finally got the clearance to get out and do a little surf sharking. I actually got cleared last month, but the beach crowds were terrible and all the good fishing spots were nuts-to-butts with tourists. Once Labor Day was over, things started to thin out so it was a good time to get out and knock the dust and rust off our gear.
My buddy and I managed to put multiple sharks on the sand. The hardest part was keeping them hooked long enough to get our mitts on them. Lots of tail-walking and jumpers as they seemed well versed on how to throw a hook. It felt good to get back out there and find the sharks were hungry and ready to be CPR’d!
