Making some more leaders and getting packed tomorrow.

The news videos of the tides and surf are pretty disconcerting. We'll see come Saturday.

It's all Tom and Don's fault! They "hooked" me on mud marlins and sharks!

I was a mile north last weekend and there was an eroded sand cliff at high tide line. Beach was clean as was the water. A week later? Who knows? I'd run down and check but I'm up at my folks in Pismo.

I didn't go out to check, but we are still on for tomorrow.  I plan on getting there an hour before dark to scope conditions out.  I'll update this page from my phone if I find anything horrid.  We could search the inlet out that is about 400 yards north of that for plan B and if everything is totally unfishable, we will head to MB for a little Bat Fight.  I'll pack some wood just in case so we could have a little fire if need be in one of the fire rings.

Keep checking back, but I look forward to fishing with you guys tomorrow!

Well, we have some people surveying the beach tomorrow which should give us a good idea of what our plans are.  I'll find out in the morning and relay the information to you.

Bummer thing is Donfish will not be joining us. Apparently that part was T.U.I when I was on the phone with him.  lol

This will be fun.  I just hope the grinners really cooperate!  My last 3 surf trips have been a bust but we are overdue for a good session!

Donfish dropped out since he was afraid his vagina was going to freeze.

I think I will find myself a spot at MB since my trip is up in the air right now. Who knows, I may still see you guys by accident. Anyways, my skills are still a work in progress and I'll be  mostly cast practicing, since I've  dicovered I have been not casting as well as possible with improper technique.

Happy hunting and I really hope that the grinners return.

It's looking like 8 max. Totally doable and got positive Intel about the Soup Kitchen this morning.
I'll be there about 4:30.
