Fishing during the summer for bigger game in Southern California can try your patience. There are crowds of people and they seem to stay out until the last bit of light disappears on the horizon. This is when the bigger game finally gets a chance to swim into the shallows and hunt for prey.
Fish whenever you can fish as you never know when you’ll get that bite, but the evening hours definitely contribute to success when all the tourists leave the water. They after all are creatures of the shadows and night!
