Sevengills and Leopards: Well, it’s been a fairly slow start to the spring shark season, but it finally just started to roll in full speed. It appeared to be a mini “Grinner Gathering” as 4 of us all showed up at the same spot on the same night without any communication. Once you start getting some surf shark time under your belt, you realize that every tide, wave, beach and moon phase is critical when picking the beach to fish. It looks like we all had the same formula.
Well, with many Leopard Sharks and multiple Sevengill sharks caught this night, it’s a good sign the season is in full swing. Be sure to follow the link and read up on the adventures in the forum. Think of it as your morning paper and getting to the back of the “Sports Section” where you look for the fish counts of the previous day. It will complete your morning cup of ‘Joe.
