Legal Halibut In NCSD 6/4/15 Tough Conditions AM Report
« on: June 04, 2015, 06:49:31 AM »
Headed out this morning and started fishing the dark at 4 AM. Conditions were light rain, light on shore breeze. Strong surge, tons of salad.

Tied on the LC 110 and went to work. No bites in the dark today as the Halibut were waiting for the Solunar to show up. The Solunar was key today.

Took me an hour and a half to get my first bite, Tied on a plastic after chucking the LC and nothing. Tied back on the LC in the light and got a nice drag peeling feeling. I'm so addicted too fighting these great fish in the surf. She inhaled it and I kept it as the surgery didn't go to well.

Here's the pics.

Completely destroyed the LC!

Love the colors on this fish

Taped shots.

22.5 Halibut maybe 23?

inhaled.

Thanks for reading and good luck out there.
