New Daiwas?
« on: May 22, 2015, 06:19:53 PM »
So I've heard rumors from an inside source of a new Lexa HD. Looks like it might be true. Hoping it's available in a 200 size for the U.S. http://tzlure.com/2016-daiwa.html

Oh and is that a Trini/Torium killer I see?  ;)

Hopefully we'll find out this coming ICAST 2015.

I'd be so down for a Lexa 200.

Why is everything a 6:1 gear ratio now? They have their place, but so do the lower ratios with more power.

Get with the times Squatch!  Lol, I'm.
Maybe we'll have to get a manufacturer to create a specialized long rod surf reel.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

I'm with you. I like a gear ratio in the high 4s to 5 myself. Still enough speed, but no sacrificing the power to winch on the big ones.
