Pea-Shooter 2024 (1/1)

My wife and I do a big morning walk every Jan 1st and I usually take a fishing pole.  She really wanted to "walk" this time instead of stopping for me to fish, so I said I'd leave me trout rod at home.  The Pea-shooter is another classification of rod that she didn't see until it was too late.



The tiny rod cast like a dream, but the low gear ration made it so I had to reel in as fast as humanly possibly just to get the roostertail blade to spin just right.



In any case, I really thought I would at least hook one, but I was whooped after 25 casts from that tiny little reel and my wife's face told me that my fun was over and back to the walk.  LOL

I walked to the water's edge and hear "What are you doing" as I was reaching into my sweats for the pea-shooter.  Soon as I pulled it out, I got a laugh from her saying "You're impossible..."
