New SS Prop

So I've been trying different prop configurations from the guys at SD Propellers and finally was pretty happy after trying out a couple of props.  He ordered me a SS prop, but it had a slightly different mod than what I was trying out before (Cupped blades vs Straight blades).  I'm not exactly sure what was so different to make such a DIFFERENCE (same pitch and diameter) but this thing is scary!  When I gun it, it's like I launching a big block chevy at the track and goes from 0-40 in a few seconds.

My trial run yesterday I couldn't open it up all the way as it was a little too scary with some texture on the water.  I couldn't go past 39.5 on the last prop, but this is getting 42 on 3/4 throttle so I'll have to test on the bay when there's no one out there to make any waves.
