Went on a morning walk to calm the work nerves and came across a hummingbird that was either downed due to cold or ran into one of the building windows.
Brought him on a walk to see if the gardeners would be helpful in recovering it. I've seen some girls working in the gardens that seemed the right type for the job.
I tried to actually let him go in a quiet little spot, but the damn thing just wanted to be in my hands where it was warm I guess.
I literally walked a 1/4 mile and it just sat there and every once in a while flapped its wings.
The gardeners were there, but kept ignoring me when I said "Excuse me" about 6 times. Finally I said, "I guess I'll just let this hummingbird be food for something" and all 3 ran over in a blink of an eye to take it. Funny, because I use the same tactics on the beach trying to ignore people, but they seemed much better at the cold shoulder method. lol
