Idiot Beacon Never Fails (9/18)

I needed to just get some quiet time as I have an overly stuffed house these days and just wanted to get away from people.

I literally went as far away from all the surf spots as possible and got out to no one on the beach... for a whole 7 minutes max.



Then, I was asked by every person walking by  "What are you hoping to catch?"  My answer changed from "Fish" to "ZZZZ's" to "Peace and Quiet", but no one cared.  I was just their entertainment while their dogs tried to steal my bait and pissed on my rod holder.

I had 4 good hits, but the circle hook made sure that none of them stuck.

Oh well, it was a valiant thought and effort.  I can only hope the cold weather rolls in really soon.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of talking to people when I'm fishing (or anytime for that matter).  Hope the homestead settles down Tom

I’ll vouch for this. Walked up on Verne and gave him the old “wow that’s a big fishing pole” he didn’t even look up. I got a kick out of it though.

Chill time on the patio didn't last long, hope you get some relief soon, unfortunately the beach is always a mixed bag of nuts.

I would, but that would have an opposite effect.  Now they would all rush down just to jump in the water and swim with them!

Right idea, too bad about the plan imploding from literally all sides. With the autumn air coming in it’s definitely about time to hit the sand.
