North Idaho Fishing with my Boys
« on: September 20, 2022, 10:33:23 AM »
Hi Guys,
Good to see you all doing well and catching fish!
I thought I'd share a few pics of this weekend's outing with my boys.  We went to a small local lake and spent the day fishing off the dock.  We had a blast!  The older boys are pretty self sufficient now and have more patience for targeting the larger fish.  The little boys just love dropping a piece of worm down and watching the little panfish fight over it.

We kept the two trout and cooked them on the grill.  Delicious!

I don't take a rod when I'm fishing with the little guys, too much action helping them to do any fishing, so I got the lone skunk.
Watching them have a blast and seeing their smiles more than makes up for it though!
Tight lines!
Chad

Awesome.

No skunk there. No rod, no skunk. Also, you get partial credit on the kids fish.

I miss catching sharks!

Pike are fun! Not the greatest fighters, but such cool looking gators!  Really slimy also.  lol

Awesome, Chad. So cool to see you get the kids out fishing Looks like some sunfish in the latter two pics?

It seems you're living it up in the north. I'm winding down the season on the Yellowstone right now with my last trip of the year.

Hope you get in some more outings before snowfall!

Thanks guys!
I feel truly blessed to be where we are!
I haven't got to fish much myself, but I don't miss it much when I get to see the smiles on my kid's faces when I'm out with them.
