On the pier with pops

Figured I would post another report with my father off the pier.  I take him either 2 or 3 times a week, it's relaxing for me and he loves it.  We ended up with 7 calicos, 2 short halibut, 1 WSB and the biggest shovelnose I've ever seen (all fish released).  Also, he turned 97 a couple weeks ago.  He spent 32 years with LAFD and has been retired 43 years.  I make arrangements with a retired Chief to have the local station come by and sing him Happy Birthday, it makes his day.  You can tell by his smile, kinda looks like he snorted one line too many   ;D

Great report Verne!  Those are some big fish you guys get off that pier!

As for your pops, that is one hell of a kid like smile!  I love it!
