Megamouth Sharks
« on: September 17, 2022, 09:41:51 AM »
I learned about these sharks back in college when I was getting my Marine Biology (Ichthyology) degree.  I was fortunate to get my hands on a baby pickled one located in Scripps back about a decade ago, but never in my wildest dreams would have thought to see a possible mating ritual between two megamouths off the San Diego coast!

Absolutely unbelievable!

Pickled Megamouths should be your Pick Em team name.

That’s wild. I remember reading about them coming up on Navy anchors when I was a wee lad. Super sick, and  didn’t realize a whale shark also came up to our parts. Cool sh!t.
