Terrible Tuesday (11/24)

Made our way to the beach.  Beach #1 was plagued with purple death.  Beach #2 was given the thumbs up by Squatch.

Half the time, the surf was very moderate and very "Shark Landing" friendly.  The other half of the time was big crashing sets that were head high!  The kind that would kill you and/or the shark if you went down trying to land them.

Bait Stealer's galore...  I couldn't keep a piece of bait on before the bass or whatever small was down there pecked my baits into skin and bone.  I went through 5 mackerel and a bonito before waiving the white flag.  Steve didn't want to cut into a fresh bonito just to feed the critters, so we called it an evening.

Oh well, but you can't catch them sitting on your couch.

Always a weird inner battle cutting into some fresh primo bait when you know it’s just gonna get thieved. Still gotta try right? Happy T day.
