LED Stike indicators
« on: February 18, 2015, 07:08:04 PM »
Found these on Amazon a few days ago. received 20 pieces for $9.08 about 45 cents each. They are cheaply made but should do the job nicely.

They ship a random assortment of red, blue and green. I ended up with 18 red and 2 blue. one has a dead battery and another is too dim to fish, but hay at this price I'll be giving several away for free. I'm not sure if I have the patience for the bell and I'm sure if you don't tape them on to your rod they would launch nicely out in to the water when you cast. :o

Jaws found some much nicer ones out there for a good price too but I'm happy to have something I can use over and over that didn't break the bank.

Cheers,
Sticks

A buddy gave me 1, I don't clip it on the rod tip for fear of wrapping around it before casting, so I just clip it on my Line right above my reel, when it drops or rise, something's going on...

I'd go through them to find out which ones light and which don't. Then I'd suggest supper gluing the bells/clip and light together and only clipping them on the tip AFTER you cast :-[

It's all Tom and Don's fault! They "hooked" me on mud marlins and sharks!
