Morning Homage (2/24)

So I made a quick run this morning to do a little shore fishing in memory of Dan. He ran into Dave and Roger a month ago down at the bay and realized they had some friends in common. 

It was colder than a witches tit first thing, but a beautiful sunrise.



I was using the blade and went 0-12.  I couldn't get their bites to stick, so I went back to the good old swimmy to see if my luck would improve.  It Did.



I ended up with 3 missed fish, but caught 5 bass and this small halibut to close out the session.



0-12 Blade
6-9 Swimmy

The swimmy won today!  I hope you guys got out to do a little fishing today.

Definitely helps weed through the smaller bass.
