That's pretty cool. Less cumbersome than the old portable ones we used to take with us lake fishing.

I hate fish finders though. It's a medium to hear fish laughter .... *beep *beep beep beep *beep ... (no bites) ... >:(

if you can cast it you can locate drop off and troughs, submerged kelp and rocks to avoid as well.

I've never really used a FF to look at fish, just depth and structure. well, bait balls too.
