Casino before the rains (12/20)

Hitting up the Casino tonight before the rains come this week. Gotta get my fix, regardless of the tide conditions. Hope to see some of you fools down there.

Can't wait to see what you got.

As far as rain, are you avoiding the surf conditions or runoff? I've sat through rain storms at several locations through my travels and even when the water is churned up and Murky, usually when I would give a hard pass in SoCal, I've had surprising outcomes. Might be worth it to brave the weather and soak some bait.

Problem is not the rains as we usually wear waders this time of year, but the swell that is supposed to be generated is 5-6 footers.  That's some tough conditions to fish the long rod especially with all of the chopped salad we've been encountering.

Nice, to hear the soup kitchen kicked out a shark. Mike and I sunked out at our A.O. last night. Hopefully, Mike will post a conditions report later. (Similar to your area)  ;D
