Steve and I searched the surf for some fishable waters, but found nothing. We packed it in and hit the bay in hopes to get something to bite and maybe to meet up with some of the guys and have a little bonfire.
We got there and only had a half pallet to work with. Steve can make a little bit of wood go a long way. He's the Fire Ho apparently! lol
I was repping SCR and was hoping to have a fish picture to send them.
No bites, no nothing. Then the crowd started to show.. Ray and Binh stopped down to soak a line.
And a big surprise! Binh invited Eli (Bigminnowfisher) down to hang out and shoot the breeze. I've known him online for a long time, but it was finally nice to meet him. Super cool guy and will be traveling the world as he usually does catching everything that swims..
Well, that was it. Ray caught the only bass of the evening so won the bragging rights and the cops came around and kicked everyone off the island. Good fire and friends filled in for the lack of catching. Hopefully soon the surf calms down enough to let some sharks get caught! This is just killing me!
