So picked up the boat. Tongue weight was 240, package weight is 1500 making that 16% not the preferred 10%. Dropped it off at FE trailers to get the axle moved to shave that weight down to 150 and replace the cracking tires.

Got the full blessing from Performance Marine on the engine and electronics.

Still will need carpeting work but it is closer.

Sounds like you're dropping some 💰!! And, like Dave said, get Seatow or Vessel Assist. Never owned a boat, but my boat owning friends all say to get one of those services before hitting the water.

Well after 50+ years on this ball of mud I now have space to have one. Granted it is a fair chunk of change but not nearly if it were new. 

My work schedule doesn't lend itself to rental boats and I swore off cattle boats years ago due to the piss poor quality of the sun baked gunny sack cat food I came home with.
