Pretty blank 16 foot canvas. The left side thing is a livewell and the rest is all open space.

Need to get emergency gear and various sundries.

It will take a while to get it fully customized but toss rods, ice chests, and tackle bag in and go

Man, that is a clean looking canvas there!  I almost bought an aluminum boat earlier this year, but it was literally turning to dust. This boat looks like it has a ton of potential!
Any questions you have, just let me know.  I've been up to my ears on restoring boats and have a lot of the answers to questions someone would have.

I'll be calling you as soon as I get it back.

First thing will be finishing the console for the maiden trip. Probably Otay or some other lake to open it up.

Needed new lights on the trailer and the trailer will need to have the axle moved up or the rails lengthened to properly balance the rig. Trolling motor awaits as does other knick knacks but it is getting worked on now as the backlog cleared.

Engine has clean bill of health and electronics are in place.

I look at it as a long "break in" time to get used to it and it's capabilities before next year.

Cats wake up in filling lakes even in the winter.

Tom already volunteered  for "sea trials". Once getting a passing grade may head it to the big water. In all my time in SD I have been ocean fishing 3 times on a boat. Twice on cattle boats bringing home rotted fish, no ice, and once on a guys personal boat.

Needless to say I would be on the bottom of any learning curve.

I think that's a great idea having an experienced boat owner like Tom help you learn the ropes. I'd do the same.
