Hey guys, sorry for my hiatus. Had some family stuff going on that was more important and needed my focus to be elsewhere. Stoked to see all the grinners on the board! I'm headed out to Florida (Singer Island) next week for some R and R and hoping to soak some bait while I'm out there. Only bringing light gear, so I'm hoping I can rent some heavier gear out there. Anyways, good to read back and see all those sharks on the sand, keep up the good work gents!

F'n Paddy, leavin us high and dry for the bat fight!..JK, trust me, you missed nothing but some aggrevation since the biguns didnt show up here till 2 weeks after the fact...but then they sure went off...everyone sure was wondering what happened to ya and hoped you were ok. Has to be 1 of 3 things I said, hospital, jail or rehab, LOL..glad I was wrong. Dont be a stranger bro!

I will as soon as I get back from Florida. I'm just bringing light gear out there so I'm hoping to be able to rent some heavier gear, from what I hear I'll be in some fairly primo shark territory.

Unfortunately don't have time for much research:( The trip was originally planned for Mexico, but had some issues and we made a last minute switch to Florida. So my previous research went in the "for future" use category. Looks like I may have my hands on a sharkin rod though. Anyone know why kinda prehistoric souls may be lurking in the West Palm Beach waters this time of year? Unfortunately I hear the black tips are gone this time of year. I've gotten some advice on locations. Anyone know if the typical rigging we use here in so cal is sufficient out there? .... Maybe I should start a new thread... lol
