Big Game Fishing the Surf (10/28)

Well, it was borderline whether we could fish the surf or not with all of the kelp around, but we've fished worse.  Outgoing tide was not ideal, but we were getting our baits stolen on every cast.

I finally got one to stick and voila!  I should have pinned him on as live bait!  ;D

Big Mack head, 10/0 XXX live bait hook and this little dudes tries to inhale it! LOL


We ended the night when the giant kelp monsters started ripping through.  Not a great evening, but we put our time in as that's the only way to do it.  8)

 Good evening on the beach. Can't complain too hard about hanging on the beach in shorts and a t shirt a week from Halloween.

It's something atleast, I fished rat beach for a fat skunk...
