Saturday evening bust

Ended up with 8 of us fishing for 5 hours, even moving to a 2nd beach around 7:00.  Once again, the water conditions were perfect, just no one told the fish.  We threw out squid, mackerel, tuna bellies and even a mullet head..............all for not.  Add to that, it was brutal cold.  None the less it was good to get out and see some new faces, one of which made an 1 1/2 hour drive to get there.  With only three weeks left to go I'll be honest here guys...........looking like LA might be hurting this year  :(

Bummer about lack of fish.
Atleast you guys are getting our and paying the surf your dues...awesome to see.

They're just holding off until the bat fight, Verne.  I'm dumbfounded at the lack of surf action through most of SoCal right now!

They have to show sometime!  I'm stoked you are keeping at it.  8)

I don't discourage easy Tom, 4 of us are hitting 2 different beaches tonight.  Divide and conquer!!
