OTW report MB

Fishing the back bay. Helped fellow member xpoc with a beastly, gravid Bat. Ten minutes later I hook into a 34". It fishy! Update later.

Xpoc  Bat was quite legit. It was an honor to assist with such a beautiful animal. I'll let Xpoc talk about it. It was amazing.

Tonight, the Mud Marlin gained my out most respect. All of the fish that I have hooked, since beginning the Shark/Ray quest, have been handed off to my boys to catch. Tonight was my first and second rays a la solo. The 47"  kick my ass. I have been recovering from a serious cold but this fish would not let up. Much respect to the Mud Marlin. Lastly, many thanks yous to Xpoc for your help as a sandhand and conversation. Cool meeting a fellow member. Can't wait to read your post. The beast must be released.

Bait taken was double squids. Squid/Mack combo never touched.
Caught on 25lb test

I will fight with the photos tomorrow.

You went into beast mode! She gave it her all, you never gave up the fight. She was a heavyweight class fighter. Happy to be there with the assist. Great to meet you.
