Seven-Seven-Lemon
« on: February 12, 2016, 06:17:04 AM »
That's what I drew on the slots last night.  Steve and I made it out for a last minute decision to hit the surf for 2 hours.  Swell was building and tide was ripping, but no weeds and very fishable!

Steve had a corner chewed on his mack, but that was it.

I had two big knock downs and missed them both.  The first time was due to putting a new safety strap on the rod holder and I wasn't accustomed to the release procedure on it, and fumbled with the rod in the rod holder.

The second one seemed to should have got hooked, but the strong rip currents swept him away after the bite and never came back for it.  Oh well, it was a fun quick 2 hours and happy to get out before the swell builds up again.

Until next tide!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
