Would like to get in one more trip before the end of the year... Surf conditions look good, although tide is not optimal and it's cold as sh!te! Can probably get out Wed or Fri, possibly Sat.. Anyone up for it?

What an awesome report! Congrats on the new species Ben! How did you feel about the fight on those things? I love a good bat fight, watching the line peel off and just hangin on til you can actually gain some line back. Glad you guys hooked up for an awesome Christmas fishfest!

Although he was possibly/probably intoxicated, there is some truth to that. To a certain extent, put bait on a hook and throw it in the water.

It's not as hard core as it may look. We took the easy route and yaked the gear out and brought a grill and sleeping bags. I've had more uncomfortable night fishing 10 mins from my house in SoCal haha.

What's the fight like on those things compared to one of our surf sharks (soups and 7's)? Sounds like they're a bit more enthusiastic...

The Boys are havin a ROUGH season! Erg! Sports have been rough for me lately.. The Angels had a terrible season, the Ducks have started off terrible, the Lakers are.. Let's not talk about the Lakers, and the Boys are in the toilet... As long as my Ducks pull their heads out there a$$' and start playing good hockey I'll be happy, since hockey is the only one I actually pay a lot of attention to.
