Put up some pics. Trouble with old potentiality collectible stuff is any alteration destroys the value. Dumb as a bag of hammers but see it in instruments, guns, knives and probably though all collectibles.

Take the rust, aka steel cancer, off a knife, value plummets, sharpen it value plummets. Take a guitar that cant stay in tune because the tuner is bad NOOOOOOOOOO it ruins the value.

Here are leather handle spacers from Jantz

Too much other life events going on to spend much time. Laid the front deck in and it didn't fit. Had to totally disassemble the console, propane torch to release frozen screws, took the deck out Sunday and sanded it to fit.

Need to reseal and repaint the sanded areas.

Those pork loins at Costco are a steal. Less than $2.00 a lb and no waste. Almost time to do another once my leftover gumbo is gone.

I haven't bought meat at Costco in years cause I spend too much money on everything else as well. :( :(   Winco is another good place to save on quality meats 8) 8)

I get one about 10 lbs, smoke it, cut into about 25 meals for 12 or 13 bucks. Good and cheap.

Don't know how you could land one unless you can get to shore.

Got to earn it by hauling the boat up that cliff and lowering back down.

Generally I use pork spareribs from the Costco Business center or Wal Mart. The whole spare is the St Louis ribs without the rib tips removed. They are normally much cheaper. See the side by side with baby backs and St Louis. Last year the baby backs were $2.69/lb, The Spare $1.29/lb, St Louis $1.99/lb.

That Traeger can fit 2 spares which is what that pack has so 11 lbs of ribs. Tips are a love it or hate it so try them once.

A must is a great thermometer. I use Thermoworks Dot, Chef Alarm, and Therma pen. The Dot is magnetic and stuck to the smoker, Chef alarm for inside or out, Thermapen as a second location check.

You need both a smoker and a grill. I don't have time to baby a fire so I have a Traeger that will fit 2 spatchc*cked 14 lb turkeys in it.

If you love pork ribs, it is a no brainer to get a pellet smoker.

Tuned out fine but took a bit longer than yours. End chops are like 2 meals worth. I usually do the whole boneless loins this is that just with a handle on it.
