Right on Joe!  The beach looks pretty empty, or is that they are cropped out of the pic?

I don't even remember my last shovelnose.  They are a lot of fun considering but I just wish we had those 7 and 8 foot three fin ones out here to make it better!

No, the beach was a complete circus, cropped it out...but I did find that if you show some pictures to mothers on the beach of 8 ft Sevengills with their jaws open and say " I catch these here all the time", it tends to clear out all the kids swimming around you out of the water rather quickly,LOL, so great.....true story

Back is fine now, it was hurting last night. I've been working out with a trainer for a few weeks now and it has definitely helped in the back department.

Looks like it helped you in the bat department too!

We took a family road trip yesterday to the Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga. My new happy place!


What an amazing store! I think the kids had as much fun as I did. We got there in time to watch them feed the fish, so cool! 


Had some alligator for lunch at the restaurant then took the kids on the carousel.










Then it was my turn to shop!
Ended up getting some tackle storage gear based on ya'lls recommendations. So much nice than having it all crammed in a backpack.






What a great day!
