Go to Shelter Island. Solid bite during the in-coming tide. Completely shut down an hour before sunset. Squid strips, small hook and a split shot. Bobbers will help even more. I fished there last night, got a few. Binh was there a few days earlier, he got a few as well.

Very cool! I never quite saw a nest built in such a strange place.
...as for the Balut... I could puke just thinking about that stuff! I normally wouldn't say "YUCK" for something I have never tried before, but YUCK!
It's a lot of work hanging lights along the roof line, so, "f" it I leave them there every year... Lol! Hate climbing up and down ladders.
Balut isn't bad. It's surprisingly tasty.
