Did you post a report on the HI and Egypt trips?  I must have missed those.

I didn't, just added the fish one-by-one on Instagram. Whenever I get a shark or ray I make sure to put a report here though!

hahaha, holy smokes!  What a hell of a year for you!

One thing I wish is I had digital cameras from the 70's, 80's and 90's.  I didn't take a bunch of pictures because film and developing cost a ton of money and technology basically didn't exist.

Yeah this hobby wouldn't have widespread appeal without digital photography. There are a bunch of kids out there now taking professional level photos. It's pretty cool, but I feel for the older generation that didn't get to have that.

I would move it to a Google spreadsheet so it's backed up, and you can access it from your phone or share it with other people.

Or come visit me in Sebastian and we'll catch a bunch of sharks. We have blacktip, blacknose, spinner, lemon, bull, nurse, bonnethead, and Atlantic sharpnose.

It's pretty easy to rack up the new ones in FL. There are a few famous spots among species anglers that would be worth checking out. Anglins Pier in Ft Lauderdale comes to mind, but check if it's still closed due to damage. Other piers north or south of there should be good. The Keys is really easy fishing. The Channel 5 fishing bridge has tons of species.

Super cool on the painted greenling! I saw one once snorkeling in La Jolla, and it always bugged me that I couldn't catch one. There's a lot of photos of them perched on the wrecks outside Mission Bay (Ruby E, Yukon, etc).

Ben makes it sound easy. He'd paddle out a couple miles then spend the day fishing 1000'+. I couldn't do 2 drifts. Gotta up my game!

LOL! I liked calm days when I could use 16 oz and it would hold bottom in 1000 ft. I'd actually paddle slowly to drag my bait along the canyon bottom.

Nice report! I could really go for a plate of bonito sashimi. Love that stuff.
