My son and I made our maiden trip to the "Soup Kitchen". Conditions were beautiful but nobody wanted to play. Patience is now being tested. Our day will come. We just need to keep heading out, but the second guessing and doubts get louder. One day, we will get a grinner.

Time on the sand! It'll happen. Not much water movement with a high tide less than 4'. Keep at it, it took me longer to get my first.

Keep at it, and you are correct.............your day will come.  I look at it this way, 'my odds are better at the beach than they are at home on the couch'

Where were you setting up at the Kitchen?  Along the reef?  at the deep reef? 

The Grinner Gathering will be at the Soup Kitchen on November 24th.  Hopefully you can make it and I'll hook you up with some good intel.  You'll get them this season.....

My biggest 7gill was at the kitchen. Keep at it.
