Went to Lake Jennings today to hopefully have some fun with trout. Conditions appeared great!

Dave and I threw everything in our tackle box for nada... Cruised the entire lake twice.
Never saw a single person hooked up. I was tossing the Huddleston Crawfish to some bass that wanted nothing to do with it, but that was about it. Not a very good day on the lake, but good company as Dave loves his trout fishing (OK, I do too) ;D

Well, at least I hooked one. But I didn't have Dave to hang out with, so I guess we are even.

Trout are so picky. One day the lakes on fire, the next day they have total lock jaw..

It even felt like trout weather. I only metered a few deep water fish and no schools of trout so I don't know where they are hiding.
