Light at the End of the Tunnel
« on: September 15, 2021, 06:06:27 PM »
Checked up on my mechanic. Turns out there wasn't that much of a queue and he tried calling me almost 2 weeks ago (didn't show up in my call history) to tell me that my lower drive is shot! Metal in the oil....so I'm replacing that and the tiller handle. Whether or not that was my fault from trying to fix it myself is still TBD.

Thinking I should be able to get back on the water by the end of the month. I start paying rent in Harbor City on October 1, so I'll make a couple last trips up around Santa Barbara before beginning to hit MDR, San Pedro, and Huntington on a regular basis, and hopefully some semi-regular day trips down to SD.

Well, glad they found the issue... or issues.  I hope to see all of the fun reports to come and good luck on the move.  Regular trips down to SD means a lot of fresh new hunting grounds and some big game to hunt!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
