Saturday Night Batting Practice for The OC 2/7/2015
« on: February 04, 2015, 06:35:53 AM »
Saturday Night Batting Practice for The OC is... TBD. We are going this Saturday night, 2/7/2015, but exactly where is going to be up to the surf gods. We'll have scouts out early Saturday AM, but there's a good chance that the surf may be too high. If that's the case we'll fish back at the Secret Spot. So stay loose and keep your ears open, we will be posting here, on SCSF, and PS Saturday afternoon when Cutty makes the call. And as always, feel free to Call or PM me if you have any questions.
Anybody have an emergency beer?

I can write the report for him.

Set up at the usual spot in the back bay in Newport. Soaked squid and mackerel for nothing but a couple baby shovelnose, a short bass, and three of the most amazing smelt. Pretty sure this is going to be the bat fight spot because the fish were off the hook.

Well at least they don't have the problem we've been having... too many bats and spots to choose from... oh such a rough life... btw my back didn't feel to great this morning from hauling all your bats outta the water last night, I'm talking to you Dave (wheresmybeer) epic catch again bro glad I could be there B)

Old Chip is probably stuck in the mud back there trying to wrestle a smelt to shore.   :o

Just making sure you are checking the boards Chip, and not just the FB page!   ;D
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
