Scouting and the last stripe of the year
« on: December 30, 2015, 09:48:11 AM »
Went to several potential AOs that due to the cold and early dark of the winter keeping surfers and tourist away may be the only time of year they are fishable.

Since last night was a really low tide I got a decent look but forgot my brightest light at home. Still a nearly full moon helped to see some good details.

Ended up stopping for a bit in MB to at least get some bait in the water but got nothing. Once again used crab and brought in an empty hook. Debating if they are shattering on impact, coming off on  the retrieve, or getting destroyed underwater but the hook doesn't catch.

Stick with macks!   ;D
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

This. And squish when in the bay. Save the gourmet baits for me.
