Broken Backs (12/15)
« on: December 16, 2015, 07:30:05 PM »
Well, we were ready for a cold ass night and went straight to the bay after seeing the eroded beaches during the week.  It took a little longer than last week, but the grade was so much better!  Of course I forgot my real camera, but tried to take Go Pro pics and phone pics instead.  the daylight pics came out great, but the night pics sucked balls!

I lost count, but pretty sure we caught 11 combined and lost just as many.  This time, except for one smaller model and a round ray, they were all in the high 40 inch to low 50 inch range.  Big suckers!

Steve hit the ground running with a PIG!

It them became a fish for fish duel!

The night rolled in and I have 25 useless pictures off my GoPro, so the only ones we could get were off the phones.

They were all quality fish and a whole lot of back breaking going on!

The fire was perfect as it was colder than a witches tit out there.

The munchkin of the night.

Only a mid 40's model.

Rest of the pictures are giant blurs on the Go Pro, but it was a sweet evening.  Even though I said 11, Steve got a round ray which counts as zero, so we really only got 10.  lol

Fun times and until next tide!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Glad I nabbed supplemental fuel from work. It was cold starting ten feet from the fire.

Great night. I even caught a few fish this time.

Very cool! As long as those things take to bring in, it looks like yall probably spent more time hooked up than not! Hafta admit, I'm a little jealous of your bat cave down there! I might be fishing 3x's a week if I had access to a spot like that!😝

Jeez, looks like a serious workout.  You should probably drink protein shakes in between fish.

It's kind of Iffy.... I've not been kind to it afterwards and now my left rotator cuff appears to be torn.  Too many big fish!   :o ;D
