I had plans to head out looking for some local yellows, but plans fell through when my folks who are visiting decided to change up plans on me and I had to shorten my fishing plans to something less than a long run in the big pond on the Boma.
I had planned to fish Jennings with Dave and the big plant of 4000 pounds was last week, so it seemed like a good time to get put there and play around with some trout and maybe look for some bass.
It was a cold morning, but definitely not trout weather. Dave and I got a few nice trout each before looking for the mother lode... and we found it... but they didn't want to play which was EXTREMELY annoying when you have dozens of big trout swimming around the boat with lockjaw!
We played around more and even tempted some bass. We saw bass from 5-9 pounds and I got some great video of it. I shortened everything down to a fun video I put together of the morning. No huge trout, but I got the biggest at 18.5" which is respectable.
I hope you enjoy the video!
