When my daughter had knee surgery at 6, we got her a water proof silicone cast cover. Worked great. Even in the pool. Sure they have them for arms too.

I had no idea such things existed! I'm really glad I didn't wait until the last minute to bring this up.

Man, I hope it all works out well with the surgery Dave!  Tough thing for a kid and especially Mom!  Yikes!

Dave, prayers for the kid.

Squatch, don't even try dude, it's beyond your station in life. Just be happy Tom let's you carry his gear.

Eric, beer should never be wasted. Ever. It's a sacred beverage. You have cursed yourself for all eternity and a day.

The last I heard from Don, he was fishing this Bat Fight.....  But this is how I see it going down in a TRUE ribbing fashion!.

NoCal

Dogfish, Tommy Cods and Skates are on the menu for the North   :o

VC

Team VC will catch a few short stacks of -1 thornybacks and round rays along with a Sevengill or two, but none that count.  ;D

LA

The bats will finally turn on up there, but Verne will get the biggest LA Bat to compete with the title.

OC

Chip will drink too much, fall asleep in his chair, and miss a huge run (if not watch his rod go flying out into the bay)  :o

SD

Josh will claim a 65" bat, but it will really only be (2) 32.5" bats side by side.
Pirate Tim, will surprise everyone and catch the winner of SNBF-IX for the Six-Peat!   ;D

I can see it already!  LOL

I haven't seen rounds or thornbacks in months up here. Other than that your prediction is probably correct...except for an  exotic Manta ray for the win!
