Last one was in 2021 and was 25,000 gallons. This one doesn't seem as extreme but I'm not giving the platforms a gold star either. Hope it doesn't f@ck up the local bite, it was just starting to heat up. Might head out with the boat Sunday morning so hopefully it doesn't interfere with that plan, short term or long term.

Waders will be a must as that tar will be stuck to a lot of feet from the sand this spring.... I hate that stuff.

Well I suppose it was best case scenario. They claim they cleaned up all of 80 gallons of oil and the slick is no more. I will be out there to inspect their work in the morning.

80 gallons, huh? lol

Eighty FIVE, sorry. I wish the report were more detailed on this. Right now it just sounds like they dropped a barrel off the rig or something.

Whatever they say it is, it's probably 100x worse.
