Had them cut 12" off my "Salas Jig" last week, so now it is a smooth 13" long and stiff as aluminum. ;D

Seems Koga has some trouble with the Metric vs Imperial measuring systems. Pretty sure he meant MM.

I think we are going to see more of this sort of thing over the next 20-30 years. Whether you believe it is man made, natural, or a combination. It’s getting harder and harder to deny that we are experiencing climate change. Fossil records etc show that the earth has undergone climate shifts in the past, not sure why people find it hard to believe that it could happen now.

Not that I need any more rods, but bummer my pic of the legal WSB I got from the surf last weekend didn’t turn out. I didn’t check the pic before rushing to get her safely released.

I hit the surf last Saturday and Sunday. Skunked on Sunday but on Saturday landed 4 13-14” calicos 1 smelt and snagged a sardine on an LC. The sardines were thick enough for about an hour at grey light that I could feel the LC hitting them 2-3 times per cast, but alas nothing but pelicans and dolphin were feeding them. They eventually moved offshore but did get to keep watching 4-5 pods of dolphin working the school for a good while.

Your not alone, so far the Malibu fish arent cooperating much either. Broke my skunk streak 2 weekends ago with a 18”and 16” calico. But resumed the skunk streak last weekend.

Throw a reel on them and fish them. They caught fish back in their day, they will catch fish now. Lol.

After looking thru some of the about us etc at the bottom, I’d say scam. Constantly referring to themselves as “online store” with a return address somewhere in Beijing province and bring a *.space web address all point towards fishy / fake.

Now you have a place to put your whittling knife while you sit in the boat in the driveway and relax.
 ;D ;D

I’ll never get an invite to fish with Tom at this rate. Lol

Quick google search yielded that you’re most likely not getting the shift rod aligned correctly when remounting the lower unit. Might need to do some google searches for your particular motor to get tips on remounting it. Some mention having the motor in forward to help align the rod into the correct spot. I’m not a mechanic so take this as you will.
