Big ol' chunks of Mac wasn't enough to bring in the fish last night. Fished thru the high tide for nada. Even my critter pole didn't get a bump.
Sure was nice to get out though.

Tried again Thursday night. Red tide in full swing, incoming tide, and new location. Had a few slack line bites. One of which, was on long enough so, when I got the slack out, I could feel a few head shakes. Hook came back empty. Critter pole was getting a few bites too just no commits.
So even with the red tide, did better than last time .
