Wanted to take the boat out this morning, but it wasn't going to happen.  Plan B was to look for corvina in the bay and meet up with Phong and Nicky.

The Bay Jedi's said there has been little to no silver action in the bay so we changed plans and just went back to the basics and started to bass fish.

I was some pretty steady action on the sexy smelt and money bait!

And Phong even showed off with a 17" that deckhand Nicky measured for him.

I turned back and got two more before getting to the car while Nicky and Phong kept working the shoreline.  Not sure of any final counts, but lots of bites/swings misses to go along with a bunch of bass.

Great fishing with you guys as always.  It's been far too long!   8)

LOL, I was thinking on every bass on what a perfect sized bait they would make.   :-[

Thankfully Phong got a legit one.
