Contacts
« on: December 22, 2016, 04:19:50 PM »
For the first time in my life, I got contacts. I have a bad stigmatism that made it tough to what contacts I could wear, but they looked simple enough.
Friggand annoying to get in and out.  It's only day 1, so it will get better apparently but a super weird feeling playing with my eye balls with these sausage fingers.

Sorry, mini rant over. I even just tried to take my glasses off... I'm spectacle trained apparently.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Was wondering how it went. Not sure I could wrap my head around sticking my finger in my eye. Hope it works out for you.

I've worn contacts since high school and recently went to only wearing glasses to save some money.  I miss my contacts!  The biggest thing is I miss wearing sunglasses and I'm tired of always pushing them back up on my face.  You'll get used to them Tom, and then you'll love 'em!

Contacts never made sense to me. My eyes are so sensitive to any foreign object I can't imagine putting something in there.

Lasik makes even less sense unless you were damn near legally blind. Knew a lady who was like that and it was miraculous for her 20/400 eyeballs. She had a video of the procedure where they peeled the lens back.  :o :o

I'll stick with my bifocals and prescription polarized.

I've been wearing contacts for 17 years now.

It is weird at first but you will get used to it and eventually wont even need a mirror.

I like to put a drop or two of solution in my eye prior to putting in the contact.

This helps them feel moist and not like your putting in a piece of plastic in your eye. Also it will help the contact grab your eye so it goes on easier.

Some contacts you can sleep with them in. I take mine out every night because when u wake up they are all dry and foggy.

Also it gives your eye a feeling of rest.

Ps

I have sausage fingers too ;D
