Well, not exactly (High Velocity Pellet Gun), but neither has fired anything so my wife's uncle and I gave it our best shot to get them having fun.

My daughter had a little trouble with the weight of the gun. My .22 would have been much lighter than this beast of a pellet gun, but it also didn't sound the alarm to the neighbors.
Even for a pellet gun, it has a little kick to it. Well, lets just say my daughter is not a fan of scopes anymore. It almost made her not want to ever shoot again, but a little later I took off the scope and made her try it again. She didn't want to hold the gun they way I was teaching her, but she was a little nervous... until she blasted the can off the post. Then she kept asking me to put another round in! LOL. I'm so happy she pulled through it and now I'll just have to get her to work on her stance the next time we go up.
The scope was pretty sweet, but I did much better using the beads. Not sure why.
Everyone enjoyed shooting the cans more than the target, but I loved the hearing the ping and watching it do loopy-loops!
Well, it was a great day out in the mountains with the family.
