Torrey Pines Surf Conditions
« on: June 16, 2021, 08:08:40 AM »
I took the family down to TP yesterday after work to chill and have some family beach time.  I fished a little for nada, but figured I'd give what conditions were like at low-Incoming tide.

Water clarity:  Off the charts crystal Clear

Salad:  Lots of individual grass and occasional small stringer ripping in the current

Water Temp:  Cold... My best guess from  the cold toes is 65 degrees

Fish:  Didn't see a single slider or even fish for that matter.

Crabs:  Excellent crab beds with crabs a variety of sizes within the same beds from pinky nail to big 1+" egg bearing crabs.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
