Vertigo?
« on: August 31, 2016, 08:21:03 PM »
Any of you guys have dealings with bad vertigo? Any home remedies will be tried.

My wife has had it really bad since Saturday. Curled up on the couch occasionally puking. She was sent to the ER by urgent care and they ruled out stroke. They gave her some nausea meds and valium but that only mildly helps.

We've tried some of the internet fixes .. Eply maneuver etc until we see her primary tomorrow. Not sure what the doc will do either.

Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Dave

Yikes Dave!  I've had some issues when working in windowless rooms/halls all day at one biotech company.  Would go away when I got outside to some fresh air and open spaces.  This sounds much worse than what I ever experienced.  I hope you find and get that resolved!

Wow, that sucks Dave!
I have no experience with vertigo.  The only thing that comes to mind would be possibly and inner ear issue?
Did they check her ears?
Praying she feels better quick!

Bonine?

Really hope she feels better soon, Dave. Can't imagine how much that sucks.

Yeah sucks for her but sucks for me more. I'm cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, doing dishes, shopping for groceries, driving to school, picking up from school, driving to football / baseball / volleyball ... Oh yeah, and trying to put in a nine-to-five at the same time. sh!t, she gets the couch.

I said that out loud huh? ... Anyone have a remedy I'm willing to pay. Seriously.  :P :P :P

Never had vertigo, but it sounds similar to being seasick. I swear by Bonine for that. Can't hurt to try...

Apparently its more like being sea sick, then stepping on one of those rides that spins around super fast.
It's a trip when she gets the spins, her eyes are literally twitching side to side like she's trying to follow a point in the room.

One of those - 'hope I never get that' ...  :-\
