SD Batting Practice
« on: February 03, 2016, 06:18:54 AM »
Well, it was a mini bat fight out there... Steve, Paul, Dave, Josh and myself.

It was a cold one, but thankfully the fire was well fueled.

I'm not sure how many were landed, but I know Dave lost about 20 and Paul lost just as many.  There were some nice fish beached and they wanted little or nothing to do with the macks.  Almost completely squid oriented...

Anyways, lots of runs... a few fish caught by all...  shaking the rust out and getting ready for the big one!  8)

I only took one pic all night, but I think everyone got one except Paul?  I tested a theory of pulling the camera out on him to see if the fish would fall off the hppk before getting him to shore.  It looks like the "Camera jinx" is real as he lost it 30 seconds after turning the camera on.  Even Josh thought that was a harsh trick to play.  lol

Keep parking your chair as far as possible from your rods and you'll be on your way!  LOL, I need to start doing that also.   ;D

I think there was 6 or maybe 7.  We (or really Paul and Dave) had about 40 runs between them (not kidding) as well as some that busted off before they got them to shore.
