Rod belt
« on: March 22, 2016, 04:40:01 PM »
So, last Saturday I managed to hook into 4 Bats :o and only landed 1, It was a little rough on the the pelvis area so I got a belt today ;) Hopefully it will relieve some of the discomfort the day after. I got this at Sports Authority, did I waste my money, it was $13 with tax ?

Do you have a gimbal on your rod? That's what that little metal rod is for on your belt. If not, take it off before you go fishing.

Yeah, I saw that and figured I would need to take it off  but I guess the price was worth it  ;) The bruise and pain was fun, but not that much fun ! ;D

That discomfort is the Badge of Honor!  lol

Looks like money well spent.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

I've got two of of those and one old style leather one, one for each of my little clan, and they always flip around or the rod butt slips out. If everything works great, then it's no bruising. But we always end up going old school, rod butt into the hip.
